I usually roll my eyes whenever I see a western inspired shoot or one photographed inside a big glass house in the hollywood hills (two concepts and locations that I think are way too overdone). Instead, for this shoot photographed by Camilla Akrans, of an in-your-face cowboy theme the feel of the shoot gives in to the more subtle soft quality of the grainy images. She took elements of the western, like the cowboy hat and wooden walls and dust, and incorporated them into the background in a way that makes the image about the woman and not the theme or location.
