Being Framed


I have been thinking a lot about backdrops in images that separate and isolate a figure or subject from the surrounding environment that they are photographed in. I'm slowly working this theme out in my own work and also by looking at other photographers and the multiple functions it serves to photograph and isolate someone in this visual way. Girl Friends

There are so many small details that I love about this shoot like the outdoor studio, the light and the relaxed way in which the models carry themselves. It's just a beautiful shoot overall.
