I really loved the spread that Carter Smith photographed for the May 2010 issue of Elle. The couture shoot is wonderfully shot in the Museum of Natural History and it if you have ever been there it is fun to recognize some of the places that they shot. Unfortunately, I don't subscribe to Elle, but it seems that their shoots just keep drawing my attention in terms of creativity and originality of their concepts, locations, and styling. The gowns perfectly match their location and they seem to blend in as if everything about the image were effortless; as if the gowns belong on the model and the model belongs in the specific location in the museum.
