W Magazine just realeased four new covers for the January 2013 "Art Meets Fashion" issue featuring actress Jessica Chastain. Each cover was a collaboration featuring artists George Condo, Rineke Dijkstra, Mickalene Thomas and Chantal Joffe. This new fashion film, directed by Monica Menez, has the set design of a Vogue shoot and the casting of an Erwin Olaf series (excuse the Erwin Olaf references, he has been a huge influencing factor for my work lately). One of the comments on the vimeo page was "not sure what I just watched, but I loved it!" That pretty much sums up my reaction to the video as well.
