Anja Rubik and Baptiste Giabiconi star in Fendi's Fall 2010 campaign which was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. The campaign was inspired by the artist Edward Hopper and what I love about this campaign was that they had a clear source of inspiration and they embraced it and incorporated some of Hopper's ideas about light, shadow, tones, and texture, and lines into the set, clothes, and images. It is nice to see a smart campaign like this every once and a while, however I suspect the influence will go unnoticed and unappreciated by many people which is disappointing.
