A few of the people I have photographed in the past have asked me about posing so I just wanted to give some examples of great images that exemplify great posing. Modeling isn't about looking pretty standing in front of a camera, its about knowing your body and how it appears in relation to a lens. Here are some examples of images that are made so much better because of the posing and the body to convey something in the image, whether it is the pose in relation to the clothes, the tone, or the location. A good model is constantly changing up his/her poses during a shoot.

Head shots, close up images of just the face, are all different depending on what the model is trying to convey through her eyes, and lips, shoulders, and hands.
